READING climbed out of the Premiership relegation zone with goals from Shane Long and sub Dave Kitson.

Republic of Ireland forward Long ran half the length of the field to get to a Kevin Doyle cutback on the hour.

And a fine late solo effort from Kitson puts daylight between the Royals and the bottom three - and virtually wrecks Man City's hopes of one of the European places.
