ROY KEANE insists dropping Craig Gordon has made him a better keeper.

The Sunderland boss axed the Scotland No.1 after the 7-1 defeat at Everton in November. And Keane said: "He was so disappointed.

"But he's in top form now and I bet he realises the two or three weeks out helped recharge his batteries."
