Fulham 0-3 Arsenal

GUNNERS gaffer Arsene Wenger hailed "lethal" Emmanuel Adebayor after a double from the Togo striker helped sink struggling Fulham.

Arsenal are behind Manchester United only on goal difference after their 11th match unbeaten.

Wenger said: "In the past Emmanuel has sometimes gone to the flanks as he so wants to be involved in play - but that drags him away from where he can be lethal.

"He was much more focused on being central today. Manny has an unbelievable jump, timing it so well. He's terrific in those situations."

Adebayor headed two first-half goals and when Eduardo moved to the left in the second half his run and centre culminated in Tomas Rosicky volleying in from close range.

Fulham gaffer Roy Hodgson said: "We started brightly and were quite comfortable but the first goal got their tails up. And when the second went in it was always going to be difficult."
