UNDER-FIRE Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez shrugged off speculation over his future after watching his side drop two more points at Middlesbrough.

Fernando Torres blasted home a superb 71st-minute equaliser for the Reds after George Boateng put Boro ahead in the first half with his first goal of the season.

Benitez said: "I am trying to concentrate on the next game. You must concentrate on games and not anything else because you cannot change those things. You can talk and talk but, at the end of the day, you must win on the pitch."

Boro boss Gareth Southgate said: "Had we got a second, I think we would have won. But then you look at the guy who scored their goal and think if he cost about as much as our entire 16 then maybe it's not such a bad result."
