LIVERPOOL boss Rafa Benitez last night admitted his heart couldn't cope with another FA Cup rollercoaster ride against Luton.

The Reds came from 3-1 down to win 5-3 at Kenilworth Road two years ago with Xabi Alonso memorably scoring from inside his own half.

Liverpool won the cup that year but Benitez hopes for an easier victory in today's third-round clash.

He said: "I'm not sure my heart could cope with that again - especially as we were 3-1 down in the second half."

League One strugglers Luton are in deep financial trouble and manager Kevin Blackwell said: "If we beat Liverpool it would have to be the biggest upset of all time."
