Stenhousemuir 0-1 Albion Rovers

CIARAN DONNELLY'S controversial penalty booked Albion's place in the next round and left Stenny raging.

The drama came in 87 minutes when Pat Walker's mazy run was halted by home defender Gary Thom.

But referee Bobby Madden sensationally awarded the spot-kick which left Stenny boss John Coughlin fuming.

He blasted: "It was not a penalty kick. And I'm disappointed to say the least."

Earlier, Donnelly was unlucky in 32 minutes when his free-kick hit the bar.

Rovers had the ball in the net in 53 minutes only for Bobby Barr's strike to be ruled out for offside.

Albion boss Paul Martin said: "We're delighted but I'm trying to bring the boys down as there's still some hard work to be done before our first big game."
