AIRDRIE gaffer Kenny Black didn't know whether to slaughter or praise his team after watching them fight back from 2-0 down to snatch a dramatic win.
Black said: "The first-half display wasn't acceptable but I asked the boys to show character and that's what they gave me."
Ross Clark put the Sons ahead after 25 minutes and ex-Rangers youngster Derek Carcary doubled their lead before the interval.
Stuart Noble sparked the come-back with a stunning 25-yard strike before Joe Cardle levelled. And Paul Di Giacomo smashed home a 75th-minute winner.
