Frail treats every game like it's his last

HEARTS caretaker boss Stephen Frail admits he's still in the dark about his future and treats every game as if it's his last.

Frail refused to criticise his players despite a punchless performance and confessed he's unsure if he'll still be around to revamp the squad this summer.

He said: "I won't openly criticise the lads because since taking over in January we were third in the form league before the split.

"As for my future I've never sought assurances from Mr Romanov- I just try to domybest.

"We face Gretna next week and I'll treat the game like it's my last. That's how I approached every match as a player and I do the same as manager.

"But anything other than a win and we'll be feeling like this.

"There are areas we need to improve by bringing in players to enhance the young ones.

"But as for a meeting with Mr Romanov, I just don't know."Frail claimed the defeat was symptomatic of Jambos' season.

He said: "We had enough possession but didn't hurt them. They didn't worry us until a good delivery for the first goal - and the second sums up our season."
