Scots Low Ranked And Frank Rotten

SCOTLAND chief Frank Hadden refused to wallow in self-pity after being edged out by the Springboks.

He insisted his side have only themselves to blame for losing their top-eight World Cup seeding.

Hadden said: "We are gutted - much more frustrated than we were after the All Blacks game last weekend.

"Our discipline and concentration let us down when it mattered most in the final 10 minutes.

"We were 10-0 ahead and where we wanted to be but couldn't close South Africa out and we will never have a better chance to beat the world champs.

"It would have been different if we had made good decisions and it's hard to find any positives."
