Ulster 24-35 Glasgow

STREETWISE Glasgow racked up their fourth win in a row - and set themselves up for a possible top-five finish in the Magners League.

The Warriors were under the cosh for long periods at Ravenhill but were ruthless when they got the ball and turned their pressure into points.

Sean Lineen's men opened the scoring early on when Ulster's fringe cover was slow to react when the ball popped out of a ruck and Dan Parks released Max Evans.

The centre sent a beautifully weighted chip towards the try-line and winger Lome Fa'atau won the race to touch down. Parks slotted the conversion - then inflicted more damage with a penalty after some indiscipline from Ulster.

However, the home side finally got some points on the board midway through the first half when scrumhalf Isaac Boss squeezed through for a short-range try. Paddy Wallace clipped over the conversion.

The momentum was with the Irish and Roger Wilson pounced for their second score.

But Glasgow bounced back and Graeme Morrison made a good break before sending Johnnie Beattie clear to score. Then Max Evans took advantage of some sloppy defending to score the Warriors' third try, which Parks convered.

While Glasgow prop Moray Low was sin-binned, Ulster wingers Simon Danielli and Tommy Bowe raced in for touchdowns. Wallace's conversion put Ulster back in front, but Parks replied with another penalty.

The fly-half then collected his own lob to send Thom Evans over for the Warriors, via link-man Beattie.

And Parks had the last word with his third penalty.
