GET ready for a 'cracking' result in the feature race on a terrific Ladies Day card at Kelso.

Crackadee (4.00) will love this step back up in trip and has already been successful at the borders track and at Newcastle.

He's trained in Northumberland by Rhona Brewis and bred by her father Bobby, who sent out Carmen V1 to finish a narrow second in the 1961 Scottish National.

Cracckadee receives 6lb from top-weight Standin Obligation, now with Peter Monteith but a first-ever training success for David Pipe when successful here nearly two years ago.

Another to consider is Chabrimal Minster as he sports blinkers for the first time and one of his co-owners is former Emmerdale actress Malandra Burrows.

I fancy Love That Benny (3.00) to concede weight all-round in a poor turn-out for the novices' chase.

Connections have been waiting for this better ground for a chaser that enjoyed a lucrative spell over fences last summer.

Hush Tiger (3.30), trained at Selkirk by Rayson Nixon, can bag another one for the locals.

Hopefully his improved form over fences will hold him in good stead as he reverts to hurdling.
