Twister's Blast Blew The Blues Away

SEE this jumps game. Toffee. Especially when you stick to one of the oldest adages in the sport - horses for courses.

Or strictly speaking trainers for courses after I trotted up to Perth last Wednesday with the bad lads and returned on the verge of solving the world credit crunch.

Three little words made it the sweetest of visits to the first leg of yet another cracking three-day extravaganza at one of the bonniest tracks in Britain.

Nigel Twiston Davies, the shrewdest of southern raiders, cracked in a mighty four timer and yours truly was the only one of our upright party to lump on them all.

The Twister has a formidable record at Scone and with his stable jock Paddy Brennan hitting the 100 mark it was cheers all round - for me anyway.
