View to a kill for Gosden's Guineas flyer

RAINBOW VIEW ticks all the right boxes in the 1,000 Guineas at Newmarket today.

John Gosden's filly boasts an unbeaten record in four starts as a juvenile and providing she has trained on the fillies' Classic is at her mercy.

Early signs suggest she has wintered well and she certainly pleased big-race jockey Jimmy Fortune in an after-racing spin at the Craven meeting.

Admittedly, the fast conditions won't be ideal but it was quick enough when she made her debut on the July Course last summer.

Locally trained Serious Attitude, unbeaten in three races, will be there to pick up the pieces if there are any chinks in the favourite's armour.

Lahaleeb has form on all types of ground and has already won a Newbury Group 3 this spring while Jim Bolger expects Cuis Ghaire to bounce back to form.

Elswhere at HQ, the Group 3 for fillies looks destined for Heaven Sent (2.35).

Walter Swinburn's Shifting Star (3.50) catches my eye in the big handicap and Take The Hint (5.0) could be the value call..
