SCOTS star Gavin Dear insists he'll continue to blow his Lytham Trophy rivals away despite the horrendous conditions.
The Murrayshall ace overcame the strong winds and ended with a one-over 141 to sit just four behind leader Luke Goddard with 36-holes to play.
And 23-year-old Dear said: "I've been striking the ball so well recently that I feel my game can stand up to the weather.
"A day like this could damage your chances. But I'm in a good position now and I'd be happy if the wind kept blowing."
