I Won't Get Watt Under The Collar

STAND-IN Scotland skipper Fraser Watts insists he won't be pressing the panic button - even if the Saltires suffer another FP Trophy pounding at Derbyshire today.

The Scots are still reeling from their eight-wicket defeat last Sunday by Lancashire when they were skittled out for just 73.

With a return trip to Old Trafford tomorrow Watts know his side need to respond well or face another year at the bottom of the table.

The Carlton star said: "I don't think there's any need for me to rally the troops, we've had bad days before.

"It's about getting back to basics. The batsmen have to score runs and the bowlers have to take wickets.

"We were slow in getting started last Sunday, we have to be ready from the first ball. If you spend the first five overs warming up you're dead in the water."
