BIG-HEARTED boxing bosses have raised more than £4,000 for charity.
St Andrews Sporting Club will donate all the proceeds from a raffle at their latest event to Erskine Hospital for war veterans.
The star prize for the raffle was two hospitality passes for this year's Barclays Scottish Open golf at Loch Lomond kindly donated by a club member.
The money raised at Glasgow's Radisson Hotel takes the club's charity total to almost £400,000 - and the tally for this year alone now tops £40,000.
Club owner Tommy Gilmour MBE said: "Boxing has a bad reputation in some people's eyes so it's nice to highlight the work of the good people who represent the majority in this sport.
"The St Andrews Sporting Club is committed to helping a varied number of causes."
