FLYING Usain Bolt ran the fastest 200 metres ever in Britain with a superb winning time of 19.76 seconds at yesterday's Aviva London Grand Prix.
Bolt, 25, lowered the mark of 19.84secs set by American Tyson Gay on the Crystal Palace track two years ago in easily beating Wallace Spearmon of the US and Paul Hession.
But the Jamaican - who set a world 100m record of 9.72 inMay - revealed after the race he still hadn't decided whether to double up and chase both sprint gold medals in Beijing.
Meanwhile, British long jumper Chris Tomlinson suffered an injury scare after his second leap at Crystal Palace.
Tomlinson - an outside hope for a medal at the Olympics - was rushed off for treatment but he only had a bad cramp.
European silver medallist Greg Rutherford won the long jump with a best effort of 8.16m.
