KILMARNOCK shot to the top of the SPL last night by beating Dundee United on an amazing day of top-flight shocks.

Hearts moved up to second spot with a 2-1 win at Hamilton while capital rivals Hibs were turned over by Motherwell at Easter Road thanks to a goal from John Sutton.

Inverness and Aberdeen completed a full house for away sides - paying 400-1 with bookies - by edging out Falkirk and St Mirren respectively.
