BRITISH kayaker Tim Brabants added bronze to his Olympic haul yesterday - then admitted it would he hard to return to his day job.
The doctor finished third in the 500m singles final - a day after winning gold for the Brits in the 1000m event.
But after hitting all his targets in Beijing he's got to focus on kickstarting his stalled medical career.
He's been on a two-year break to concentrate on canoeing and said: "I have now to go back to the real world and find a career for the next 18 months.
"I can't go straight back to unsupervised work. I will probably work for free for a couple of months to get my skills back and make sure I am confident."
That will pay the bills until the build up to London in 2012 - when Brabants will look to defend his title.
The 31-year-old said: "I will still be young enough and really want to compete in a home Olympics. But I've still got to clear that with the wife - even if she's happy with how I've done this week."
