I ENJOYED your feature on writers encouraging kids to read. Ian Rankin was right about getting to try comics as a starter. I remember the great Classics Ilustrated series which feature pictorial versions of everything from Moby Dick to The Three Musketeers. A great doorway to literature. - John Gray, Dundee.
