I CAN understand politicians going on fact-finding trips but I was furious to read about Glasgow City councillors spending more than £24,000 of our hard-earned cash on trips to flower shows. They certainly don't come out of it smelling of roses. - Ian Gray, Hyndland, Glasgow.
