WEE FIGHTER LENNOX IS A BORN WINNER

LITTLE Lennox Donaldson might be the smallest Scot ever born... but he's one of the bravest.

Arriving at 23 weeks, weighing just 14 ounces, he has no right to be alive today.

Some 97 per cent of babies born so early do not survive.

But Lennox has ignored the odds.

He is battling like the champion boxer he is named after, trying to grow and build up his strength.

We hope he wins his fight.

His parents, Laura and Stephen, are generous enough to realise that without the care and expertise of the staff at Forth Park maternity hospital in Kirkcaldy, their wee boy would have had no chance.

Laura and Stephen want to raise money for a webcam for the neonatal unit so other parents like them can watch their babies.

It is difficult to think of a cause more deserving.

We hope wee Lennox gets home from hospital soon to join his mum, dad and three sisters.

He's a wee fighter and all of Scotland is in his corner.
