Taking Credit

A FREEZE by the Royal Bank of Scotland on overdraft charges will give small businesses breathing space.

Banks have been accused of cashing in on the credit crunch by increasing the amount they charge.

The decision may be linked to the bank's bailout by the government with £20billion of taxpayers' cash.

But other banks should also offer a helping hand.
