Surveys show it is the sexiest in Britain and Scots businessmen are regarded as reliable and hardworking simply because of the way they speak.

But two Dundee college pals had to pretend to be Californian ghetto gangsta rappers to get a record contract.

No one took them seriously when they rapped in Scottish accents.

Hip-hop? Chip shop, more like.
