A year after winning the Holyrood election, Alex Salmond is still riding high in the polls.
And yes, even some loyal Labour supporters concede the SNP are an effective government.
But his toughest challenge will be convincing us to go to the divorce courts. He wants to deliver Scottish independence and the polls show the majority of Scots support him.
But when it comes to the crunch, will we really vote to separate? Even street-wise Salmond can't say.
So the big question for Salmond is: Where do you go from here?
