TRYING to take the iron out of our Irn-Bru sounds like a joke.

Sadly, it happens to be true.

The Food Standards Agency want to ban the artificial additive giving Irn-Bru its orange colour.

Researchers claim E numbers make kids hyperactive but, as long as they're not guzzled by the gallon, they pose no great harm.

The bureaucrats should keep their hands off our girders.
