OUR journey to Stenhousemuir training was hampered on Thursday by the QE2's 40th anniversary celebrations.

The M8 was at a standstill due to the thousands of gatherers who flocked to view the old ship from the banks of the Clyde.

But punters can see the equivalent of the QE2 turning up every second Saturday at Brechin's Glebe Park - big Scotty Walker trying to spin towards his own goal to chase a through ball.
