SOME people are drawn towards scrapes like moths to a flame - and it's too much of a coincidence that it's ALWAYS someone else's fault.
In Neil Lennon's case, NO-ONE deserves the beating he got at the weekend, far less for the reasons he got it. It shames our nation that we still have to go through this with these bigoted numbskulls.
But I'm still with the school that says he should have been a million miles away from a boozer on Sunday night, even his local.
Then you have Nacho Novo, a badge-kisser of the highest order, last man off the park in every game, first man to every manager he's ever played for when he scores as he bids for the level of acceptance his ability alone can't earn him.
Again no-one deserves to feel their family is under threat. As I said in May the song the Celtic fans sing about him dying via a bullet from the IRA should be highlighted far more for the disgrace it is.
But why was he wrestling security to throw his shirt into the crowd after a game where he'd played for 12 minutes and contributed zero? And that's without even touching the stories of him spitting towards fans as he got off the team bus.
We've also got Artur Boruc with a single digit in the air to Rangers fans, a man guilty of perennial bampottery in these games.
Every one of these incidents was utterly avoidable if they had screwed the nut. The chances of that happening? Tragically slim.
