NO doubt about it, the guy has something special when you place the ball 12 yards away from him.

Allan McGregor's spot-kick save for Scotland against Northern Ireland the other night was class.

A word you couldn't apply to his performance after the match.

The mixed zone at Hampden is where the players filter through to speak to the media after the game.

Most do it with good grace and stop at every request.

McGregor, man of the night though he was, pretended he was sticking his headphones in, and blanked every single shout - including the loudest ones coming from Rangers TV, ironically enough.

He didn't even utter a "not tonight lads" or a "sorry". Just a big custard pie, a deefy.

Which is fine big man if you don't fancy the attention.

But the week after you do a big picture spread with the bird showing off all her best dresses and shoes?

You can't have it both ways.
