IT used to be when a club told you to go you went. End of story.
Ask Gordon Smith when Rangers sent him to Brighton or Davie Hay when Celtic punted him to Chelsea.
Now the boot's on the other foot - and Alan Gow is standing his ground with Rangers to get the two years' dough he thinks he's due.
If he'd been a massive success at Ibrox the club would either be demanding top dollar for him or that he sees out his contract.
Because he's not they don't think they need to honour their side of the deal? Surely he was their misjudgment or do consequences not work two ways?
PS. For his own good he should get out and start playing again.
