Sore point for Andy

TIME to set your watch - Andy Murray is facing an injury crisis, so Wimbledon must be a week away.

Watching him skite around the court at Queens the other day like he was on roller skates, the words 'Munchausen Syndrome' hung in the air like subtitles.

His groin, his thumb, his hammy - every time he hit the deck, he was looking for something else wrong and for sympathy.

A whole country will be watching as our man takes on the world's best on England's green and pleasant land.

Can we watch with pride as a young Scot does himself justice or do we cringe behind the sofa, trying hard, but failing, to like the guy just because we all fly the same flag?

I've said it before, I'll say it again, the sooner the Dunblane lad gets a sports shrink and a personality makeover, the sooner he can start to become all he promises to be.
