Christie's saving his skin

FROM day one, Charlie Christie never seemed comfortable with what being a boss did to him as a person. It was like he'd pulled on someone else's skin.

The fact he had to be talked into the Inverness job after winning as caretaker should have been a warning. Maybe if he'd lost he wouldn't have taken it.

Now he's left but don't let anyone tell you he wasn't good at his job. He was. Maybe the best thing for him would be to find a new club and prove it.

Something tells me he won't. Punters aren't happy that Craig Brewster is returning to Caley Thistle - but they should stretch their memories.

He only lost 15 of his 50 games last time and will be better for his Dundee United nightmare as well.
