I love Martina Navratilova already...and show's not even started

WELL, it's back. Usually I start by saying I won't watch it cos I don't know any of the celebs and it's just bad telly.

Then I watch the first episode of I'm A Celebrity and realise I recognise a couple and get hooked.

Before long I think some of them are OK, some are lovely and the rest are horrid. Then I'm tuning in every night to see who gets put out.

I will only be able to watch tonight because I will be on stage in Bath all week.

Celebs include Dani Behr, left, Esther Rantzen, soap star Joe Swash and Robert Kilroy Silk. I hope Martina Navratilova, one of my heroines, wins.

On an X Factor note, I was raging Laura got knocked out. But like thousands of others, I didn't pick up a phone and vote for her.

Abba DVD is my Waterloo

WELL Mamma Mia! has really done the business with sales at record levels for the DVD...and yes, I was one of those who bought it. But not for me, for my daughters who love it. I would rather watch paint dry than Meryl Streep and Co warble through Abba's back catalogue but who am I to go against the masses? All I get from the DVD is great songs - not sung all that well - with a pretty rubbish story but if you want a fun singalong escape, then I suppose it's ideal. Read
