LEWIS HAMILTON stuck up two fingers to that racist minority of fans by becoming the first black Formula 1 champion.

But can anyone tell me why motor racing drivers earn so much money?

Surely anyone can put their foot on the floor of a car and drive at speed - especially in those highspec motors.

Marathon runners don't have that luxury and what they do looks like much harder work.

Hopefully Lewis and his Pussycat Dolls girl Nicole Scherzinger will now live in the UK and pay tax.

And yes, I'd like Sean Connery to do the same and live in Scotland.

Abba DVD is my Waterloo

WELL Mamma Mia! has really done the business with sales at record levels for the DVD...and yes, I was one of those who bought it. But not for me, for my daughters who love it. I would rather watch paint dry than Meryl Streep and Co warble through Abba's back catalogue but who am I to go against the masses? All I get from the DVD is great songs - not sung all that well - with a pretty rubbish story but if you want a fun singalong escape, then I suppose it's ideal. Read
