IF nationalising banks is so good then why was it not done before?
I remember Labour leader Michael Foot being told he was writing the longest suicide note in history for even mentioning nationalisation of banks in the party's manifesto in the 1980s.
Now it's done in a flash. I suppose it's only all right to nationalise banks when the system is failed and bankrupt... not when the people of this country could actually benefit from it.
Imagine what we could have done with the millions these fat cats tucked away - imagine the leading-edge schools and hospitals we could have built.
