America can't be serious about John McCain

The prospect of Sarah Palin having the codes for nuclear weapons is bloody terrifying.

I watched the presidential debate the other night and thought McCain looked frail, desperate and really old.

I had to ask myself if I was being ageist. But I wouldn't question Nelson Mandela's ability to lead or Tony Benn's intelligence and they're even older.

I generally think the old in our society should be listened to more as they have a great deal of wisdom and experience to share.

But McCain sounds like a bad soundbite and a bit of an idiot.
