THE Calendar Girls' team got a fantastic reception when we arrived in Glasgow on Monday.
Every show at the King's Theatre has sold out and the cast can't believe how wonderful the audiences are.
They were worried punters would think them too twee or too English. I assured them we don't think like that here.
People want to be told a good story by good actors, to laugh and be moved. They don't care where you're from.
So the cast were bowled over by the audiences. At the stripping scene the other night, the crowd was so hysterical the actors couldn't get their lines in.
