IAM delighted the Scottish Government has backed free healthy school meals for every child - although councils will need more money to help them implement the policy.
If our children eat well and drink lots of water, their concentration improves and they achieve more.
They are less likely to become obese as adults if they learn how to eat well when they are young.
It will save the health service in Scotland millions in the long run.
But the most important message is that we, as a country, value our children and their well-being.
We care enough about them to make sure they are fed properly.
