Jobs for shipyard workers is fantastc news

I'M delighted that the jobs of thousands of shipyard workers are secure due to the order for two new aircraft carriers.

But I am sure even the workers will be questioning the wisdom of this.

Defence experts say the ships are not appropriate for modern conflicts. Couldn't they just have built one and spent the other two billion making sure our troops in the Middle East have the right equipment?
