Gordon Brown should be ashamed that the poor are getting poorer

THE poor get poorer under Labour. That sentence alone should be enough for Gordon Brown and his Cabinet to hang their heads in shame.

All the promises about what would be done for the poorest and least able have come to little.

Instead, under a Blair/Brown watch, the rich have got richer.

I expect the Tories to make the rich richer, not Labour and that should worry Gordon Brown far more than a by-election defeat in posh old Henley.
