WELL done to the pupils at Beeslack High School in Penicuik for sitting their Higher drama exam when they had just lost their beloved teacher, Evelyn Handleigh, who was also my friend for 30 years.

These remarkable kids had to sit the exam then attend her funeral. It's a testament to Evelyn they could go on when so upset. She would be so proud of them.
