High time TV bosses switched on to Scotland

THE phrase "You just don't get it" received a burst of applause at the open forum on broadcasting in Scotland.

ITV and BBC bosses are unaware of how Scotland feels about telly and radio and the change since devolution.

It was pointed out coverage of the London mayor elections was massive compared to our own.

The network is so Londonbiased it drives us barmy.

London's mayor has no real power beyond the city. Yet Scotland, with a budget of £31billion and potential to end the UK, is viewed as a wee side show.

Hopefully they left Glasgow "getting it" a bit more.
