BRILLIANT news that the new Southern General hospital in Glasgow will be funded by taxpayers and not the Public Finance Initiative.

It's a disgrace we ever built schools and hospitals under this, which saw private firms make a mint.

It was like getting a mortgage for your home and paying it for years then finding it still belongs to the bank.

If we can afford billions for a war we can fund hospitals and schools.
