THE Scouts have made a real resurgence over the last two years after going out of fashion.

I used to help the Cubs when I was 16 but it was a bit too religious and strict.

The leaders lost touch with what kids wanted and a generation lost out on the good that can come from these groups.

New Chief Scout Peter Duncan, formerly of Blue Peter, has revamped the Scouts to concentrate on activities and fun - and kids are turning up in droves.
