Sorry Is Not Good Enough

THE case of Robert Foye, left, who raped a girl while on the run from prison was horrific. We hoped an independent inquiry would examine the facts and heads would roll for the decision to put this dangerous man in an open prison.

But what do we get? The Prison Service reviewing themselves then saying it was all a terrible mistake and apologising.

It's not right that these organisations, paid for by us, investigate themselves when things go wrong.
