IT'S high time we stopped slagging off celebrity Scots who hightail it south.

Suddenly I See singer KT Tunstall and rockers The Fratellis aren't dissing their homeland by leaving.

To win any sort of award in Scotland you have to make it big somewhere else before we reckon you're worth celebrating. Those who choose to stay and work here often fail to get the same level of recognition. That's Scots logic for you.

The people buying their CDs don't care if they are Scots or not.

It's whether you can do the job that matters - and they can. Talent always gets you through so no one should feel bad about leaving. We still love you.
