I joined the "March of the Mods" for the opening night of pop opera Quadrophenia at the Festival Theatre in Edinburgh last week.
The stage musical version of The Who's 1973 album is a must-see.
The cast have taken the story of teenage Mod Jimmy Cooper, set in 1964, and dragged it punching and kicking into 2009.
The result is much darker than the 1979 film version, starring Phil Daniels.
Catch it at the King's Theatre, Glasgow, from Tuesday to Saturday..
