GAVIN And Stacey star James Corden is in line for a £1million payday.

The co-creator of the hit BBC3 comedy - up for two gongs at the BAFTAs tonight - has sold the rights to US network NBC.

The channel has form for turning a Brit hit into a Stateside success after masterminding the US version of The Office, making Ricky Gervais a millionaire.

One source said: "Two seasons there will easily make James a million."
