AMSTERDAM singer Ian Prowse is bracing himself for a bit of nuclear fallout in the Liverpool area.
But don't worry, the Russians haven't launched a missile attack on Merseyside.
He's preparing for a bitter blast from his ex-girlfriend caused by his group's brilliant new album, Arm In Arm.
Ian wrote the title track after being dumped by girlfriend, Genevieve and it's the most scathing love song I've heard in years.
"It's the first time I've ever written about my relationships," admitted Ian.
"I went out with Genevieve for 10 years and she was a member of my previous band Pele.
"Basically, one day she just left me - but decided she wanted to stay in the group. At a gig in Liverpool, she brought along the guy she'd dumped me for.
"So she got both barrels with that song.
I'm waiting for the nuclear fallout.
"Revenge is definitely a dish best served cold. The moral of the story is don't ever cross a songwriter."
I've joined the fastgrowing Amsterdam fan club and I'm in good company. Clash legend Mick Jones dubbed them a f****** great band.
They dueted with Elvis Costello on a cover of The Searchers' 1964 No. 1 hit, Don't Throw Your Love Away, and backed him for an appearance on the Jonathan Ross Show.
The new Amsterdam album - out March 17- features a collaboration with Irish music legend Christy Moore.
