Andy Walker: Celtic would be wise to cash in on Boruc after Euro 2008

CELTIC keeper Artur Boruc's wife has just given birth to a baby boy but I doubt the wee man will be brought up in Glasgow.

His dad is fast becoming one of the standout goalies at Euro 2008 and the big clubs must be ready to swoop for him.

Apart from producing fantastic saves at crucial times for Poland, Boruc (right) has shown his all-round ability.

He can command his area, his handling and distribution are excellent and unlike so many goalies he's comfortable dealing with a backpass on either foot.

Throw in the fact Boruc has proved himself in the Champions League and I wouldn't be surprised if a club like Arsenal come in soon with an offer Celtic can't refuse.

If they match what Sunderland paid for Hearts star Craig Gordon - around s9million - business will be done.
